Terms of sale

Lumina Lune sells laboratory-grown diamond jewelry directly through this site. These terms apply to every order placed here. Where a piece is made to your specification, the custom order terms apply as well and take precedence if the two differ.

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we send written confirmation that the order is accepted, or, for a custom piece, when we confirm that production is authorized. A checkout receipt records payment; it is not acceptance on its own.

We may decline an order before acceptance, including where a stone is no longer available, a price was published in error, verification cannot be completed, or the order appears to be fraudulent. If we decline, any authorization is released or refunded in full.

Prices are shown in United States dollars. Applicable sales tax is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay, and import duties are covered on the shipping page rather than here.

A studio estimate is an indication and is not binding. A versioned quote is binding until the expiry shown on it. Where a price or specification is published in obvious error we contact you before proceeding, and you may confirm at the corrected price or cancel without charge.

Payment is taken on a hosted payment surface operated by our payment provider. We never receive or store full card details. We may authorize a payment and capture it when the order is accepted or dispatched.

An order held for manual review is held openly and visibly on your order, not cancelled in silence. If verification cannot be completed we release the authorization in full.

Many stones are unique. A stone receives a time-limited hold while you check out, and the hold expires if checkout is not completed. If a stone becomes unavailable before we accept your order we offer a documented alternative of equal or better grade, or a full refund.

Shipments are insured and require an adult signature. Risk of loss and title pass on delivery to the address on the order, or when the carrier records a signature. Loss in transit is our problem to resolve, not yours.

Delivery dates are estimates unless we confirm a committed date for your order in writing. Where a committed date cannot be met we tell you as soon as we know and you may cancel any part not yet in production for a full refund.

Returns, exchanges, resizing, and the lifetime manufacturing warranty are set out on their own pages and form part of these terms. Custom pieces made to an approved CAD revision are final sale, subject always to your rights where a piece is faulty or not as described.

Give accurate details and keep your account secure. Do not attempt to interfere with the site, extract data at scale, or place orders you do not intend to complete. Engraving and uploaded references must be lawful and must not infringe anyone else's rights, and we may decline content we consider unlawful or offensive.

The site, its content, our designs, and the CAD models produced for a piece remain our property or that of our licensors. You receive the physical piece you buy, and the concept images from your own sessions for personal use. You do not receive rights in the underlying design or the manufacturing files.

We are responsible for foreseeable loss and damage caused by our breach of these terms. We are not responsible for indirect loss, loss of profit, or loss of opportunity, and our total liability in connection with a piece is limited to the amount paid for it.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under your consumer rights.

These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which Lumina Lune is established, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory law of your own country of residence.

Please contact us first. Most questions are resolved from the order record, which holds the specification, approvals, inspection evidence, and delivery proof for your piece.

These terms are versioned. The version recorded with your order is the version that applies to it, and a later change does not alter an order already accepted.
