Concept imagery
Studio images are AI-generated concepts, not photographs of a finished piece and not a promise of exact appearance.
A concept can show a proportion, a metal color, or a setting direction that is not manufacturable as drawn. Treat it as a description of intent, and read the written specification beside it as the accurate record.
Visual meshes
An optional GLB or STL is a non-dimensional visual concept. It is not to scale, not editable parametric CAD, and not a manufacturing file.
The approval gate
A factory CAD team rebuilds the piece from the written specification and references. Production requires your written approval of that factory revision.
Nothing generated in the studio can start production on its own. The approval you give is to a specific factory revision, identified by its own version and asset record, and that is the revision your piece is made and inspected against.
Estimates and availability
A studio estimate is produced by a deterministic calculation, not by a language model, and it is still only an estimate. A stone shown in a concept is not reserved until a hold is placed at checkout, and a versioned quote supplies the binding price.
People remain in the loop
AI does not decide a price, accept an order, assess risk, or approve a design. Those decisions are made by people and recorded on your order. Where a message in a design conversation was drafted with AI assistance, a designer reviews it before it is sent.
Data handling
Your prompts, uploaded references, and generated concepts are stored with your design session so you can return to them. They are visible to you and to the staff working on your project, and private assets are served through short-lived links rather than public URLs.
We do not permit our AI providers to train their models on your session content. Where a provider cannot commit to that in writing, we do not use it for customer work. The current providers are listed with the privacy notice.
Ask us to delete a session and we remove its prompts and concepts. Where a session led to an accepted order, the specification and approval record is retained under the retention rules in the privacy notice, because it is the evidence the piece was made against.
Upload only references you are entitled to share. Do not upload another person's photograph or a third party's protected design, and do not include details in a prompt that you would not want held with your order.
